Nếu bạn nói chuyện tiếng Anh với con từ khi con dưới hoặc xấp xỉ một tuổi, với điều kiện cách tiếp cận phù hợp với trẻ, lượng input nhiều và đều cũng như vốn tiếng của bạn tốt, bạn sẽ chứng kiến phát triển ngôn ngữ lớn ở trẻ từ năm 2 tuổi đến năm 3 tuổi. Thay đổi này là do não bộ và nhận thức của trẻ đã phát triển hơn, không thể bị thúc đẩy nhanh hơn để phù hợp với mong đợi của người lớn. (Thực ra, bất kì ngôn ngữ nào cũng trải qua các giai đoạn phát triển tương tự).

Nhiều người đã hỏi để xem video của mình dạy tiếng cho con như thế nào. Có những cha mẹ cũng hỏi kinh nghiệm về các trò chơi để chơi với con. Mình không thể ghi lại thời gian bé đang học, vì thực chất lúc nào bé cũng học (đơn giản là qua trò chuyện với mẹ), và rất khó để quay lại vì bé biết mẹ đang quay bằng điện thoại nên sẽ thay đổi hướng của cuộc trò chuyện sang chiếc điện thoại (hoặc chiếc điện thoại sẽ ảnh hướng tới cách bé phản ứng với mẹ).

Về các trò chơi, mình cũng không phải là người thích thiết kế các trò chơi để con chơi (mặc dù nhiều cha mẹ thích cách tiếp cận này vì họ có cảm giác "bài học" được chuẩn bị kĩ hơn, và tin tưởng con mình học được nhiều hơn nếu được trực tiếp dạy các từ vựng cần thiết). Nếu bạn quan tâm đến các trò chơi, có lẽ sẽ phải google thêm và tham khảo các nguồn khác. Cách tiếp cận của mình đơn giản là dựa vào trò chính con đang chơi (có thể là Lego, hoặc đồ chơi linh tinh, ...), các hoạt động hàng ngày và sách để nói chuyện khi thật sự có nhu cầu nói chuyện.
